Quality Assurance

As a corporate policy, Met-Chem provides quality products and services to its customers that meet their expectations for performance, reliability and safety at competitive costs. Met-Chem incorporates quality assurance procedures in providing services to its clients such as:

• design;
• preparation of specifications, drawings, etc.;
• review of equipment supply and contract proposals;
• review and approval of suppliers' shop drawings and documentation;
• construction supervision and technical assistance at site.

Met-Chem has a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, who is responsible for the implementation and compliance with the quality objectives of the company. The QA manager ensures that the quality assurance standards, at levels up to and including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, are maintained.

Met-Chem, with its quality plan included in the project manual, can ensure its clients of:

• quality, checked and approved drawings, reports;
• other engineering activities such as calculations, design, reviews;
• equipment supply specifications that incorporate specific project QA requirements;
• verification of suppliers' conformance to QA requirements;
• site contractors' compliance with specific project QA requirements.
