
Project Management Activities
Met-Chem has managed a broad spectrum of projects from initial concept through plant start-up. Through its experience in managing successful projects, Met-Chem can put in place an experienced project management team with a highly flexible structure that will respond in an effective way to the project dynamics.
Met-Chem's team focuses its efforts to accomplish the goals of a project by successfully organising the following:
- controlling the project documentation with latest technologies;
- assuring that quality of work and services are maintained by all Met-Chem employees and also by all external services required;
- performing accurate estimates for all different items of the scope of work, and later performing a cost control of the project according to the original budget and objectives;
- planning the different phases of the project and completing a precise schedule of project activities to satisfy the objectives of the project accounting for the various characteristics of each activity;
- using Met-Chem's many years of expertise in procurement to purchase all necessary equipment for the project, and after, provide a continuous expediting of goods for delivery on time at site;
- and preparing progress reports accounting for the necessary information to meet client requirements and give progress facts on general project information, planning, engineering progress, cost estimation and control, purchasing status and construction progress if included in mandate.
