Metallurgical Test Supervision
Planning and supervision of metallurgical tests is another important aspect of Met-Chem's services. Met-Chem works very closely with laboratories to plan and supervise the testwork program on behalf of clients. The supervision of the program enables Met-Chem to consciously evaluate results and adjust testwork program if necessary.
Metallurgical tests are needed from the early stages of the mine development up to the last years of mine operation. From the conceptual to feasibility studies, metallurgical tests are conducted with the aim to develop optimum processing methods. These tests are on-going process from mine start-up and continued intermittently during the life of the mine.
The results from process audits determine if some metallurgical tests are necessary in order to improve a plant's overall performance.
