Crushing

The two most important properties of ore treatment to be considered are the size and mineralogical composition of the particles. The behaviour of the particles in each mineral processing equipment are significantly affected by the variation levels of the the size and mineralogical composition properties. In terms of particle size, crushing is the first step to reduce large size pieces to uniformly sized smaller pieces which are acceptable for grinding circuit feed.
