Base Metals
For the past fifteen years, Met-Chem has been involved in numerous base metals projects (zinc, copper, lead, nickel, cobalt) covering the activities of resources evaluation, mine design, flowsheet development, feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPCM contracts, plant expansions and commissioning. These services were provided on projects such as the feasibility study for a 100,000 tpd copper mine at El Pachon (Argentina), an EPCM contract for the concentrator and surface infrastructure of the 1,800 tpd Duck Pond project in Newfoundland, the detailed engineering for the Raglan concentrator or the process plant expansion at Bouchard-Hébert. Other feasibility studies were conducted in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
Our base metals client portfolio includes Cambior, Inmet, Campbell Resources, Aur Resources, Noranda, Ursa Major, Falconbridge, Crowflight and others.
